The project focused on providing shade, color, and pattern in addition to giving a one of a kind experience of being under a kaleidoscope. The aluminum reflects much of the sunlight and gives a colorful pattern to the space below. Each individual ‘light vessel’ is operable, and easily moveable to where the most shade is needed.
